About Us
Pedalling for Pleasure's owner, Derek O’Connor has been involved in cycling for most of his life.
|
He is a qualified National Standard Cycling Instructor*, Trail Mountain Bike Leader and has run a busy Cycle Hire Centre in Dorset. He has cycle toured round several European countries.
In 1999 he began organising cycling holidays and started to provide cycling tuition for adults who had never ridden a bike before and for people wanting to get back into cycling after a break.

For six years he organised a year-round programme of cycling events (called Pedal Back the Years) for people of all ages and abilities for a local authority in Dorset.
The programme encompassed children, adults and families. It regularly involved leading cycle rides in Dorset, the New Forest, Hampshire and further afield.
